Winter Workshops

Take part in FREE workshops at your local Henry’s this winter! Our instructors will help you enhance your photography skills and put your feet on the path to becoming a masterful vlogger and visual storyteller. There are many topics covered in our workshops, including action, editing, creative portraits, live streaming, macro, and nature photography.

We will be offering 3 categories of workshops; Core Skills, Advanced, and Photo Walks.

Join us for an educational and inspiring afternoon for our Headshot Photo Workshop with Sony Pro, Tom Gould. Tom will be demonstrating his signature lighting setup for Headshots in our Vancouver store. He’ll be teaching how he coaches his subjects in order to pull the best out of them in front of the camera. This is a unique opportunity.

Bring your camera and a lens that hits between 85-105mm to get some great tips and try your hand.

Tom Gould's Bio

Tom is passionate about being a people photographer and strives to capture the human spirit through his images. He specializes in portraiture, editorial, fashion and fine art, utilizing both film and digital methods and a flair for the cinematic. Tom’s work can be found in various galleries and has been published in print internationally and his instructional article on photography and lighting for GoodLightMag! (@goodlightmag) was an editor’s pick of the year. Being a “pro supported photographer” for Sony, Tom is teaching workshops on photography and lighting, highlighting his innovative ways to capture the drama so evident in his work.
