Winter Workshops
Take part in FREE workshops at your local Henry’s this winter! Our instructors will help you enhance your photography skills and put your feet on the path to becoming a masterful vlogger and visual storyteller. There are many topics covered in our workshops, including action, editing, creative portraits, live streaming, macro, and nature photography.

Exploring E-Motion: Exploring the Emotion of Movement Through Light with David Eisenberg

Join us at this event to listen and learn from Internationally Awarded photographer, David Eisenberg, a Sony Partner Honoris Causa. He will cover how to capture E-motion (emotion in motion). We will be discovering together different lighting techniques in movement as well as utilize unconventional materials to get the shot. We will go over best practices and break up into groups for a hands-on experience with guidance from our professionals. A dancer will be on-site so please, bring your favourite camera kit and let’s get shooting!
David Eisenberg is perhaps one of the most prolific authors in portrait photography today. As an elite photographer, he set fashion trends for brands such as Levi's, Armani, Valentino and Hugo Boss. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue, Rolling Stone Magazine, Newsweek, Fox Sports USA, Expansion, Lideres Mexicanos, Open, Playboy, among many others. He has held more than 25 personal exhibitions internationally, not counting multiple collective ones.
David’s priority is to teach this art. For 20 years he was the first ambassador for the prestigious Canon Latin America. Now with the distinction of Sony Partner Honoris Causa for Latin America, David continues to complement this mission of sharing his secrets and experiences through seminars and conferences on tours through Mexico, Canada and the USA.

Camera School is thrilled to be able to offer its in-depth multi week Photo 101 course offering on Sundays at Henry’s Studio 185 in downtown Toronto. This course is the perfect solution for getting your camera set up for success and learning all of the core photography fundamentals that every photographer should know. Each class is an average of 2 hours on four individual Sunday sessions that make up the 4-week course.
This course is designed exclusively for owners of DSLR or mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras. You’ll get plenty of hands-on and great student notes to aid in your progress (homework assignments too!).
